Happy 1^st anniversary, Nexus! 

Oh boy, does that ever feel weird!  It's been a whole year - somehow it seems a lot longer, or maybe a lot shorter... Either way, it's incredible to me that this story has attracted such a loyal fanbase and means so much to so many.  I wrote it for me, not really expecting it to be a big hit.  It's still my baby, even though it's horribly flawed and I want to 'fix' it so very badly. :)  Maybe someday I'll do a "preferred version", who knows eh?

Thank you all so much for taking this adventure with me.  :)  I hope this soundtrack helps distract keep you all entertained while waiting for the third installment. :)  (I promise I'm working on it every spare second I get - it's getting there!)

I read over my own work fairly often, to make sure I've still got my head firmly in the universe and help me stay consistent with my characterizations and plots and all that. A lot of that reading is done in the bathtub or before bed, so I needed a portable version. And me being me, I got completely carried away with the idea. ;)  This summer I bought myself some fun office gadgets, and turned my beloved fic into a bath'n'bed-sized book. :)  I don't know if I can adequately convey the depth of my squee when I got my first, perfect copy in my hands.

So you can tell I tend to throw myself into these projects, hehe. I will have a soundtrack and book for Apotheosis, too, and sometime down the road I'll look into doing audiobook versions (so I can listen to them at work, you see. *grin*).

Ok ok don't kill me!  I'm still writing, til my fingers bleed.  This bit of silliness came to me at work a month or so ago, and found its way into the omake for the 'Nexus' sequel.  Thought I'd share it now since it fits the season. :)

Setting: Renji is visiting Ichigo again after the events in Nexus. It just happens to be Halloween.

I did it!  I finally finished this story!  *pant pant*  It took over a month - partly because work was kicking my ass, but mostly because it just demanded so much more detail and depth than I'd originally planned.  Who am I to argue with the muse?
